History of Dunvegan Gardens

Dunvegan Gardens is a family-owned Grande Prairie business that is operated by Chad, Anna, and family. Dunvegan Gardens has its roots in the Peace River Valley at Dunvegan, where Chad's grandfather began operations with a commercial vegetable garden in 1952. In 1977, the Friesen family purchased a stretch of land on Highway 40, south of Grande Prairie, to establish a retail facility for plants and related items. In the spring of 1995, The Old Barn Store was added to the facility.
